Not a prime mayweather cause obviously a prime Floyd toys with Thurman like a baby playing with his dummy. But say if Floyd came out of retirement to fight Thurman, I think Keith could win. Super impressed tonight, back to back wins against Porter and Garcia.

I just don't think Floyd can contain Thurman. Thurman's in-and-out movement would cause Floyd problems.

No. Thurman relies too much on his hand speed and agility. He also doesn't step in with his jab. Danny lost respect for his jab midway through the fight. Floyd even at 40 would have the reach advantage over Thurman and would slow him down with his jab to the body. Great win for Thurman though. Hopefully we get more unifications.

see Mayweather vs Pacquiao for the results of what an IN AND OUT type of fighter was suppose to do to Mayweather. Something happens to guys when they fight that dude. I think they get starstruck.

Fair point, though Pac does have and in and out style, Keith just has the height and reach combined with the in-and-out movement that would cause problems. Amir Khan would cause Floyd problems too for similar reasons. I don't think Floyd would be able to control the range vs Thurman like he is used to. He'd be getting hit at angles that he's not used to getting hit at by Thurman. Floyd vs Thurman would be a great fight though and Floyd may be able to counter Thurman enough to win some rounds. I just think Thurman is awkward and elusive and is a stylistic nightmare for pretty much anybody.

i actually thought better of thurman before this fight, danny looked slow to me and he was still catching thurman whenever he stayed in range. floyds speed would stop him in his tracks and leave him countering at air.
