How did Haye look before injury

He looked like a fat pile of ****. And Bellew looked like a sloppy ass tall guy.

 

He looked plain terrible , lets remember this is Bellew he is up against and was made to miss so wildly.

 

People need to understand that he was already injured before the fight, that's why his footwork was terrible & his timing was so far off, the injury only became more obvious in round six. Why do you think he flew out to Germany two days earlier to see his doctor?

 

He was wild and clumsy even before the injury. Haye's always had sloppy technique but now that his athletic gifts are failing and his bodies breaking down he looks dreadful. Not as bad as Wilder but still bad. He should hang them up

Bellew proved me wrong that he could take Haye's shots and even evade most of them. When Haye did land in the first couple rounds Bellew wasn't bothered at all. Simply goes to show that Haye's punching power is largely a myth and his speed has largely diminished.

 

Look like Haye was brawling with a drunk football hooligan, and got a good pasting .

 

He looked unprepared and then desperate.

 

Kinda irrelevant. Once the agree to step in the ring any injuries are out of the window. If it was that bad he should of pulled out.

 

Haye was shot from the first round, restricted by his injury which then took a turn for the worse, literally.

 

He looked like crap. Slow, sloppy, telegraphed punches, accuracy way off, crappy looking jab to the body, timing all shot to buggery. His head jab, short right and a bit of footspeed were all that was really still decent.

 

Haye must have put about 5-10 pounds on over night. He wasn't close to how slender he was at the weight-in which means he was probably over 230 which is way way too heavy for him.

This is why he couldn't cut the ring off or put any punches together and what most likely lead to he knee popping out. What the hell was he thinking.

 

Haye looked bad but was still good enough to comfortably beat Bellew. All he needed to do was to just keep landing the jab to the body, Bellew did nothing in return and just looked to survive.

The only success Bellew had was countering Haye's swinging wild punches. When Haye stopped throwing those Bellew just stood there wide open for jabs to the body. Haye should have just planted his feet and jabbed to the body Floyd Mayweather style using his superior speed. The threat of power would have kept Bellew away. The problem is though that even if he would win 11-1 type of decision like that he would still look bad in people's because he couldn't put Bellew away. That's why he was getting wild from time to time and looked for a quick KO.

While Haye could have been good enough to beat Bellew I think we can all agree that even the pre-injury Haye from yesterday would get destroyed by any top 10 HW and probably gets beat by any top 20 HW easily as well. Imagine what Povetkin would have done to him. Even Breazeale would have beat him in a brutal devastating fashion. I doubt he can even win against guys like Szpilka at this point. He's completely shot and needs to retire or cash out with Bellew rematch. Bellew better stay away from the big boys as well since he's completely pillow fisted at HW, he couldn't KO a stationary human punching bag Haye on one leg and Haye is one of the smallest HWs.

 

Before the 6th round I had him ahead by 1 point so he wans't look good. He looked wide and uncoordinated and a shell of is own self. Bellew looked sharper in terms of balance and counterpunched really well in the first 2 rounds.

So even if David didn't **** up his foot he wasn't looking like he was dominating the fight by any means. I think David is done as a boxer and a rematch would only be for a cashout and his campaign at heavyweight is and has been over since 2011.

 

He was absolutely winging wildly in the first 3 rounds trying to take Bellew's head off. It was horrendous to watch and super obvious and telegraphed. Then when he boxed behind his jab he was much slicker and way on top. Had him 4-1 up after 5 but the injury destroyed him. I genuinely think he was on desperation mode from the get go and knee his ankle was gonna go. Otherwise that was a terrible start to the fight.
