Zivic was more than a roughhouser. He was a genuine cutie, a bit of the predecessor of BHop in that regard. Knew all the tricks in the book and then some. I think he likely takes Brown out of his game and wins ugly, banks rounds and doesn't get himself stung. Result being a close decision. And Fritzie had a set of whiskers, too. I'm going to revisit both in the next couple days and come back again. Thanks for the great match-up.
Zivic. Bigger man, just as skilled. Ray Robinson said that he learned more in 10 rounds with Zivic than in all his other fights put together. When I was a kid, I was working out on the heavy bag when Joe Brown walked by with a fighter he was training. He pointed at me and said, "See, that's how I want you to punch. Like you was throwing rocks." Coming from him, I was feeling pretty proud of myself until he added, "If even a white boy can do it, why can't you?"
