There's a lot of haters on here Having watched All five fights, Argilagos was the only fighter to have actually been bested, Whilst Savon and Lopez being robbed in a hometown decision, anyone familiar with the wsb shouldn't be surprised, or with aiba especially with still only 3 judges in the wsb it was only a matter of time and wsb is still amateur boxing despite how it looks Like Lopez Savon dominated the fight started every exchange threw more and landed more, neither virtually lost a round, and neither fights were remotely close, the problem the wsb and aiba have had for years is corrupt judging and it will likely never change, all the same it's a reminder what happens when you stay amateur for soo long
For those who don't watch the fights, and just use it as a way to hate, argilagos was outworked in nearly all the rounds despite being more skillfull he's was outworked Savon dominated delvis julio just like he did in the 2015 pan am games's when he UD'd julio, again is hit with corruption that seems to always follow him, lopez fought a guy who went out in the prelims of the olympics and who lopez outlanded outworked and totally dominated, columbians watching the fights also posted lopez won, hopefully it's a wake up call for them to go pro
I think you need a subscription to wsb to watch them, but they might show the pre lims on their facebook page, i know boxnation is going to replay them, two high profile and the best 91kg and 75kg fighters savon and lopez got robbed in a hometown decision, but if your familar with wsb and aiba it shouldn't be a surprise at all, i just feel bad for the fighters they destroy and how they taint their records
@Ph33rknot I wouldn't advise anyone to watch the wsb because of the corruption or any aiba event, but the cuba domadores are three time WSB champions, they dominate that tournament and amateur boxing in general
@kevinwillis We know; no Cuban ever loses fairly. Toledo got robbed vs Loma according to you. LOL Colombian guy i think he was speaking spanish anyway was posting the same thing on the wsb stream about toledo beating loma, richie woodhall knows his boxing you don't, and also thought toledo won lol who does all the commentary or used to for the entire world championships and the olympics, i think he's more credible than anyone here, he lost in wc 2011 but in 2012 yes toledo beat him
1. Richie Woodhall certainly isn't good at scoring fights. He never has been. 2. Lomachenko wasn't awarded with punches he actually landed in the first round, he won the first round by a decent margin but the judges for a suspicious reason had it virtually even. 3. When the commentators give their opinion on how the outcome should be, they speak accordingly to the judges scorecards because that's what they're meant to do. Because Lomachenko-Toledo first round was even, obviously it'll end up a close fight, yet it was still 14-11. 4. Lomachenko definitely beat Toledo. Sidenote: As for your private message, I am signed up to WSB, I watched the fights. Please post the Columbia-Cuba WSB fights here if you're so willing, then and let everyone judge for yourself. I only have been shutting you down in the past because you used to spam message me. I'm having my own opinion about anything I want on here, and you spam messaging me in response is you crying like a kid (well at least that's what you used to do).
Who was that cuban fanboy that gets banned every two seconds after he's back? Is there a chance that he is the same guy as the op or is just that there so many fan girls for cuban boxing?.
I think you claim to be a boxing fan, but really your a hater like many others, Saying savon won and lopez clearly won is not being a fanboy it's being a real and objective fan something haters like you care little about
Columbian fans in the wsb stream were posting about toledo beating lomachenko too, woodhall is the head coach of gb boxing, is probably the best commentator aiba has ever had, was the main analyst for the last two world championships and the last two olympic game's, he's the most credible commentator they've ever had, and yes toledo beat lomachenko in london many also felt this as did Woodhall,
which cubans in the wsb are boring? I find La Cruz great to watch maybe you don't can you name one other than that? I'd be interested to hear, "boring" etc are code words for something else
yeah, its code word for not exciting, not entertaining, not worth paying for, etc... and no, not everyone who finds games of tag in the ring boring, is a racist. when nobody but the sweet science hipsters finds you entertaining, and there arent enough of them to make you any money, then you have to take some of the responsibility at some point.
Woodhall did not think Toledo won, stop putting words into his mouth - he implied it could be a draw given the first round (where Loma scored a number of times but wasn't given credit). To further this point again, refer to his professional protocol that I spoken about that's required of all commentators. He is a good commentator BUT that doesn't mean he's good at scoring fights. You're starting this 'twitter is blowing up' BS again. 14-11 deal with it. Should've been 17-12 at least.
