No more Rod Salka's now Garcia really has to get to work

    Lamont Peterson was the IBF champ at the time, and was AT WORST considered a top 5 at 140.
    He's a arguably naturally bigger than Danny, so the catch weight didn't benefit either guy

    Theopane was a tough fight for a guy who wasn't ever considered a hot shot prospect.

    Herrera went on and arguably beat Benavidez, showing that he was a solid fighter.

    He's just fought Thurman.

    Gueterro was coming off a fairly strong performance against Thurman.

    And obviously Khan and Matthyse.

    That's a better resume than most champions

    Damn you took apart his record superbly. :clapclap:

    I hate when people act like Garcia's the epitome of an amazing resume , yes he has good names but he fought most of them on the slide.

    Lamont Peterson was a loss imo but I'll definitely give him credit for taking on that fight.

    He really struggled with Theophane who has never been a world beater.

    Herrera beat Garcia that was a joke, Garcia's name won him that fight.

    Guerrero was washed up and went on to lost to Peralta for ffs.

    Khan and Matthyse are definitely his stand out wins, but his recent run of performance pre-Thurman are woeful, he actually fought Vargas who Spence beat as a prospect.

    Theopane: Never been anything more than a medicore fighter

    Marales: Totally shot

    Judah: As above

    Matthysse: Great win

    Khan: As above

    Herrera: Beat Garcia as clear as day, disgusting robbery

    Malignaggi: Close to shot and never was all that good anyway IMO

    Peterson: Good win if you actually scored it for Garcia, I scored it a draw personally

    Not sure what you mean, he's fight with Thurman was his competitive fight at 147. I just want him to keep fighting at a top 10 level whereas before he was picking guys outside of the top 15-20.

    Vargas/Collazo would be great come back fights followed up by Peterson/Broner then he could target the Belt holders.

    He KO Thurman but got a SD loss from the judges as Karma for the Herrera and Peterson fights.
