Good decision. He's got a great gig lined up as a commentator so no need to really risk it in front of the cameras anymore.
Thanks to Paulie !! Brash, articulate and opinionated. But most importantly big heart. He always gave great efforts both in winning and losing.
good move, for a guy that gets hit in the head for a living and has been in quite a few beatdowns he is very composed and is amazing as a boxing annalist and commentator. i sure hope he stays in the scene because he always keeps its real
Hard to believe that it's been almost 20 years already. Pretty impressive resume for a guy that couldn't bang. Thanks for the fun Paulie.
He couldn't crack an egg, and now he got beaten by egg... time to retire it is! Seriously though, he has a life after boxing. Although I don't really like him, he's a motormouth and a good commentator.
Being formerly undefeated doesn't mean d1ck. It only meant that he was fighting bums until he fought live boxers.
Good riddance I say. Pack up ur one trick pony jab. And your feather dusters. And fly off into the sunset sucking a BBC Paulie.
Good on him. Dude got KO'd, commentated his own loss, said he's retiring on TV and then went on to commentate other bouts that same night Fastest career change ever.
Good luck to the fella. Not a great by any means, but I always enjoyed watching him fight. At least he has something to do after it all, as he's a pretty talented commentator and analyst.
