LMFAO Khan doesn't or didn't deserve the fight anyway, get in line.....I wonder if he'll start talking about Brook again?
Khan was so quick to prematurely announce the fight to take the heat off blatantly ducking Brook. I think Pac and his team actually woke up and realised they wanted to face a legitimate opponent who was considered at least a top 10 welter. Eggington and Skeete are available for Khan, will he avoid them like he avoided Brook?
According to Arum the money (38 Mil) for Manny's Guarantee wasn't there and he did think it was gonna be. http://www.fightnews.com/Boxing/aru...d-funds-dont-materialize-pacquiao-khan-396119
No, but that money was never on the table in the first place. Khan prematurely announced that the fight was happening to shift focus away from the pressure he was getting to duck Brook.
I'm definitely not devastated that this fight won't come off, even though I thought it would be a good chance for Pac to score his first KO in years. I want to see Pac in a more challenging fight while he still has something to offer if he's gonna keep going. Crawford would probably be my pick of the current litter. Has he got the skills to defeat even this version of Manny? I think he does, and I'd like to see him put to the test. Problem is that Bob will be hesitant to make that fight. He wants to carry on with a retirement tour (moneymaking tour) with Manny and keep Crawford undefeated as long as possible to build his brand. I wish he would prove me wrong there, but I ain't holding my breath.
