Sad thing is, I believe that the man really does possess some serious talent. But he doesn't have the dedication to turn that talent into an ATG resume.

Yep that's the problem. If and when he returns can he regroup and get back to winning ways?

Oh yes, Fury still has to prove something, he needs to come back and fight other top HWs to built his legacy. Michael Spinks at least defended his 'linear' title twice.

As for Spinks brothers, Michael was light years ahead of Leon both in terms of boxing ability and actual resume.

Totally agree mate. Always think if tyson had not been around then he would have met holy field at some stage. Could have been a good fight that one

Thats why i hope he comes back soon, then we may find out.
Early next year is my guess.
Im sure his 'retirement' is not all it seems.

    No.

No version of Tyson we've seen so far could beat any version of Lennox who ever showed up in the ring.

Fury is a rank amateur. A HORRIBLE fighter. I laughed every round when he fought Wlad because of his (actually both fighters) ineptitude. If you believe otherwise your a fan boy and nothing more.

I'd have to see more of Fury. I do know it was a woeful version of Lewis, fat, out of shape and quite ordinary compared to a short time prior.

Even at this advanced age Lewis was still letting his hands go. Sloppy and slow at times but still letting them go. He certainly wouldn't stay at range all night and just get outboard. At some point I see Lewis dropping Fury with a big uppercut and ending it.

Lewis would have bombed Fury out of there, whether he was shot or not. Shot version of Wlad, wouldn't have lasted 4 rounds against Lennox either. They are levels below. Both of them can't fight for **** on the inside.
