And as this shows he ain't the star he thinks he is Brook could well tell khan to jog on with thurman Garcia all waiting in the wings This as damaged khasns % Imo
I think Khan will end up taking the Thurman fight, it will still be a reasonably big payday for him although not as big as Pac or Brook would have been. I have no doubt Thurman would KTFO Khan but if Brook loses to Spence which is possible then it could set up one last payday for Khan & Brook to finally fight in a match which is well past it's best but could still be sold as a last chance of their career type fight.
Just change the word fairies to big fights If only i could make gifs https://m.youtube.com/?hl=en-GB&gl=GB#/watch?v=O7idX-ijERw https://m.youtube.com/?hl=en-GB&gl=GB#/watch?v=FFrag8ll85w https://m.youtube.com/?hl=en-GB&gl=GB#/watch?v=qMxX-QOV9tI
Thurman would destroy Khan, you are talking about two completely different levels of fighter. Khan would also only be taking 25% of the purse as the mandatory challenger, peanuts basically. There's NO WAY Khan will fight Thurman.
Khan had the steel pin that can affect power or chin.. it's out now.. at 147 he'll rule.. even a repeat attempt at 154+ he'll win this time..
Reckon he'll fight Bradley next. He'll spin it as if Timothy Bradley is a better fighter than Brook etc. Thurman, Brook, Porter, and Garcia again all beat Khan IMO. Tim Bradley im not so sure.
Thurman and Garcia got $2 mil each. Thurman v Khan would generate how much? Khan to take 25% of such a small amount for such a risk. Not going to happen.
Sounds like Spence Jn learned something from the Haye-Bellew fight... "I don't feel the need to have to go there and stop him," said Spence Jr. "I'm not going to put that pressure on myself. That's when it don't happen, or you look sloppy, and end up losing some other way.
Isn't the WBC like a 60-40 split? I'm sure Khan could get a 1.5-2m payday from that fight as he's still a big name whatever anyone thinks about him.
Khan now reckons that he's a global superstar that should only fight in mega-PPVs once every 18 months or so against other so-called global superstars. In his deluded mind and/or in the deluded minds of his handlers, why should he stoop so low as to fight Eggington or Skeete? I suppose he'd equate doing so to collecting rubbish for a living.
It's 70/30 actually, doubt Khan gets more than a million for Thurman yet turned down probably 5-10 million for fighting Brook?
