Lamont Peterson would beat and possibly stop Keith Run Time Thurman

    Who beat up Garcia worse?

    Lamont Peterson did. He walked Garcia down in the later rounds and beat him up in the body and head and had Garcia fighting to survive.

    Thurman won rounds but didn't have nearly the body of work Peterson did. Thurman ran the last 3 rounds, (not box), and PEterson was walking Garcia down on the verge of stopping him.

    Thurman will struggle wiht a fighter who can fight on the inside, cujt the ring off, and make him work.

    Shawn Porter had great success and he's nothing more then a wild, slow, fighter.

    No, he's 100% right! I mean, remember how Pac beat up Cotto much more than Floyd did and then went on to beat floyd? Oh wait.... Uhm....

    Peterson beat Danny maybe by a round or 2 at best, it probably should have been a draw, the Thurman match wasn't even competitive. Thurman hurt Danny far worse than Peterson did, and would definitely hurt Peterson a whole hell of a lot worse than Garcia did.

    Peterson isnt even top 10-20 fighter at 147,has no power and weak chin,no chance.Im not sure that Peterson was ever top 5 fighter at 140 as well.
    D.Garcia is really poor at 147,should have stayed at 140-no power,no speed,average boxing ability and only thing that keeps him up is his incredible chin so far.Matthysse also will look bad at 147.Just too small.

    147 atm for me is like -Pacman,Thurman,Brook,Spence ...in no particular order then Porter may be around 5th,Bradley is inactive and shot probably,hard to know his current position in the division.

    Easy win for thurman. Danny has a deceptively good counter punching skill, and he has a great chin. Peterson is a good overall boxer that doesn't do anything that stands out. Also his chin is suspect. Thurman UD or late KO

    I think thurman takes him. Between the two, Lamont is definitely the more skilled fighter, but Thurman is riding a pretty good high, and that type of momentum can take you places.

    peterson is impressive everytime i see him. but 147 he is a bit "light in the arse" to quote bhop. thurman rocks him.
