New World Boxing Super Series $ 50 million prizemoney

This is great for boxing.
To pull this off, Al Haymon most be involved somewhere in the pipeline.
No specific weight divisions or fighters were mentioned so that still remains to be seen, but otherwise, a good potential addition to the PBC and Boxnation cards.

Awesome, good find! So cruiser weight and light middle....hope the prize money is attractive enough to bring in the top fighters in each division. 50 mil sounds promising

Sounds good. But tourneys and cross-promotion doesn't work too well in boxing. Almost never.

Lets see who they get to take part.

 

Not a chance this pipe dream ever comes to reality. This is going to turn into the same kind of fiasco that bare knuckle boxing show turned into.

Also, the 50 million isn't a prize. It's a budget to be spread over about 20 fights.

Mikkel Kessler is meant to be in the 168 draw?

 

So its a Knock out tournament? and will only last a year?

4, 2, 1=7 fights per tournament with 25 mill pot per tournament = very decent purses

Should attract decent names, especially @ Cruiserweight
Super middleweight seems tied up ATM, probably be a weak draw

 

Who do you think will participate in this Super Series ? Any guesses ??

At 168 - Groves, Degale, Zeuge, Kessler, Callum Smith, Avni Yldirim, Abraham, Andre Direll

I dont think Ramirez will get in

At 200 - Breidis, Usyk, Dorticos, Glowacki, Kalenga, Gassiev, Huck, Tabiti

None of the Russian based fighters will get in IMO

 

I have no idea, but am very interested to find out!

I think the idea is great and will attract huge interest, hopefully we get a few top names and some up and comers that prove to be the goods.

I just hope they both go as scheduled, no injuries or pull outs

 

Cruiser would be awesome if those names participate!
