Cuadras: Chocolatito is running from me

    According to Caudras he has been hearing after Chocolatito fights Rungvisai he will be moving to 118.

    115 is already a division too high for Gonzalez imo he looks abit soft at the weight and his power just isn't there.

    I can't see chocolatito doing that, that would be as bad as Canelo. He would be vacating to a division he has no business being in to avoid a fighter who gave him the toughest fight of his career. There's no one even really up at 118 it's a stale division.

    If he moves up is that a duck?

    He has to give Caudras a rematch just like Ward has to give Kovalev one. I had both fights a draw and in tight fights like those two I always wanna see a conclusive match to clear things up.

    I thought Cuadras should have gotten the nod. A rematch is necessary in this case.

    That's what you think. The reality is that the majority (70/75%) of media and experts -whose opinion counts a lot more than yours and obviously mine- had Roman and Sergey winning, thus the only rematch needed is the one between 'Krusher' and 'S.O.G.', since the rightful winner wasn't rewarded in this particular case.

    Why does their opinion count more than ours? That's bull****. i could use that logic to say the judges who are more trained to judge fights picked Ward so therefore no rematch is necessary other than the fact there was a contractual clause.

    I think Caudras could of won if he just didn't move as much, if he stayed in the pocket a bit more he could of got the edge. But he allowed Chocalatito to make seem as though he was running the whole time.

    Cuadras got my respect and then some from the fight but I still think Roman won it by a couple points. You fight the P4P King tough like that, you do deserve a rematch. That said, it wouldn't quite be some criminal offense if it never happens.

    As big a fan of Roman as I am, I have to agree that Bantamweight is too high for him.

    But Caudras had a rematch clause I believe....If Roman vacates I will definitely call it a duck, he said he would rematch him after this fight, I don't think Roman will vacate though.

    Can you imagine Roman vs Tete lol that would be a crazy height difference.

    Moving into your fifth weight class to avoid people you've already beaten is always a duck. Duran only fought Hagler because he was afraid of Davey Moore and Mayweather only fought Canelo to avoid Guerrero. If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's a duck!

    118 isn't a stale division it has shinsuke yamanaka. one of the most underated long time champions. but I don't think Gonzalez shoud move up. anymore should of stayed at 112 to be honest.

    Yamanaka is good but guys like Haskins, McDonnell, ZZ it's not exactly loaded with names. At 115 he's got Caudras, Estrada, Inoue, those are three great names who seem to all want a piece of Chocalatito.

    You seem pretty concerned about what the world owes Cuadras for a guy who doesn't spell his name right. But to answer your question, no, I don't. I think it would be nice and the classy thing to do considering how competitive their first fight was but Gonzalez doesn't owe anybody anything at this point.

    I think HBO owes him some walking around money. He's asking for a million bucks to rematch Cuadras, Estrada, or to have a mega fight with Inoue. Just pay the ****ing guy you cheap ****s! For a million bucks the number one pound for pound fighter in the world is willing to fight anybody and they are putting him off with peanuts.

    And why shouldn't I compare him to Duran if he takes on a fifth weight class? I compared him to Mayweather. I was thinking about comparing him to Pacquiao, Donaire, Toney, and Morales too. You gotta admit, there aren't a lot of guys who have moved up five weight classes over the years. Pernell Whitaker stopped at four.

    Yes, I agree, I had Cuadras winning the fight.................Cuadras was cheated, notice there was no rematch? Look at their faces.............

    You know who I'm talking about regardless, I actually ageee with you I do think HBO should give him more money he deserves it. However you have people on here calling Barerra a scumbag for not wanting to fight Beterbiev for 40k ffs now that's real peanuts.

    I'm not really impressed with the weight differences at the lower end of boxing it's seperated by 3lb each division so his only gone up 10 lbs. Guys like Duran and Manny, went up 25 lbs+ now that's a big difference.

    I always prefer when fighters clean out two divisions than move up 3 or 4 division and win one belt in each of the division they step in. Just my personal peference.
