No he didn't, assuming you're talking about those heavy breaths he does in the corner. He does that all of the time. A lot of the Eastern Europeans that have an extensive amateur pedigree do that. It seems that it is something they are taught to do. Aside from that there isn't much of a reason to assume he was getting exhausted in that fight.
TBF, GGG did look a bit smooth on fight night, & IMO , he appeared to be in a rush to brush Brook aside, very uncharacteristically of GGG who is usually the consummate professional, in the Brook fight that slipped slightly. He just seemed a bit sloppy in his footwork, maybe all the nonsense of the Eubank debacle took its toll etc...BUT, I am sure that was a one off & GGG will be back to his mazing self for Jacobs.
Have you seen GGG Vs Lemuiex,And Macklin,And Stevens,His Defense For All Theses Fights Show He Is Very Defensive And Can Counter Punch, Brooks Had To Be A War To Get His Name Up They're As A Big PPV For Casuals
Danny has overcome a lot more than most people will have to endure in their lifetimes. Having a couple of friends with cancer in treatment, it's a total crapfest. I think this whole ordeal has given Jacobs a higher perspective in life. However, all the warm fuzzies in the world won't him a chin that can't hold it's own. Jacobs w/o his chin issues, I think could have been a beast! Hell, he's have been 3G!
Kiwi...why would it make any difference if he did or didn't give GGG credit...next minute you'll be saying his opinion matters ?
This kind of blind hate for a guy who never talks **** and has said nothing but that he has tremendous respect for Jacobs and for his trainer(s). I can't imagine how insane GGG would drive some people if he started talking trash like a lot of other guys.
Would like to go on record as saying receiving successful cancer treatment does not in any way shape or form make you a better boxer. It might change his life perspective and stuff, but nothing else. I don't know why we feel a need to try and create a narrative for fights.
It doesn't matter, but we know the procedure: if Jacobs loses he'll be relegated to a bum by those who dislike GGG. So .... I am trying to forestall that possibility. I want to keep both sides of the GGG debate honest where I can
