Golovkin's fan base has definitely grown since the Lemiuex fight. Lets see how many UFC fans watch this fight (many UFC fans know who GGG is). His name is now connected to Canelo so that is definitley going to bring interest. Also, Golovkin is fighting an American fighter, who is not very well known, but should help bring in more buyers. I expect this fight to break 200k. No more than 250k
Dan Raphael seems to biased towards GGG for me, although he may be telling Im very skeptical when he claims things to do with GGG.
Hmm so it hasn't sold out already with 5 days left? Its probably hits the same or more in ticket revenue because the price is higher than the last one but not sure if it sells if it hasn't sold out by now.
With GGG sometimes it's hard to know who to believe. I actually attend Dan Rafael chats and I think he's pretty reliable, but I know others differ.
He is reliable for the most part and I only said he is biased towards GGG. What is the numbers he gave for the fight? Edit: the consensus figure seems to be 150k
But when it comes to GGG vs Ward , your calculator comes out in a heart beat. Get off the forum fool.
Okay well I can't dispute those numbers in that case. If GGG can do 250k would jacobs then he would really have a case for a good split, but Canelo vs Chavez may do about 350k+.
pac and floyd are exceptions...thats not likely to happen with any current crop.....both of those guys fed off each other...id expect a normal human to see that and understand that....i guess thats why i have no such expectation for you.....that was the height of pac mania....
It won't do any better than his last PPV of 97k. Lemieux was more known and had a bigger following than Jacobs. Jacobs last fight was in Reading, Pennsylvania in front of about 2 thousand people. Nobody knows who he is.
its not even fair....we all know lewis isnt playing with a full deck....its just more typical double standard garbage from the golovkinites.....but even in the world of golovkin fans lewis was forlorn
