    Antonio Margarito is one of my guys. He is resolution personified. He was gonna walk you down, eat your best shots and throw punches until his arm fell off and his lungs could no longer function. He gave you everything he had. Down to the last drop of constitution left in his body. There was nothing a human could give in a ring that he didn't give to his opponent and the fans. What a magnificent heart and resolve.

    The tarnishing of his name is a boxing tragedy. I've boxed before. And I know a great heart, determination, chin and stamina when I see one. This guy was a special fighter who never quit, never gave up and never backed down. No quitting, no denying, fighting to the end.

    He was a tough hombre the beating he withstood from Pac was horrible. The ref should have stopped that fight but he did cheat TBF.

    There have been plenty of fighters with similar attributes and more, plenty active fighters who still give it all and get less repect.. Time to move on.

    And if you don't think he cheated, fine. But people are allowed to believe otherwise. Get over it.

    You write all this B.S. because he never fought Floyd. Had he fought Floyd and loss like we all know he would, you'd write him off as the simple flat footed come forward easy target that he is. I always find it amazing how guys who fought Floyd are belittled while guys who didn't are glorified....we all know why!

    Denis Lebedev, Timothy Bradley among the active fighters. I'm sure I'm missing some.

    Or Nick Blackwell, he was in coma and career over because he wouldn't quit against CEJ. Or Abdusalamov, he's been living like a vegetable becase he just kept trying against Perez. There have been others who literally died trying, so Margarito certainly isn't unique for losing an eye in the ring.
