Barrera McKinney was an excellent fight that hardly anybody talk about when discussing great fights. There is a bad blood between them, both highly skilled and they traded bombs resulting in multiple knockdowns over 12 rounds before it got stopped.
It makes me a Barrera fan.

Everyone talks about Gatti-Ward, but Gatti's early fights seem to be almost forgotten now. Yes the first Gatti-Ward was an atg fight, but it was really the last 2.5 rounds that made it special. And Gatti schooled Ward in the second and the third is kind of overrated

Gatti-Rodriguez is the greatest Gatti fight for me. More back and forth, more dramtic ebb and flow, it had everything. Boxing, Gatti swelled up, Gatti knocked down, brutal exchanges, Gattii almost out at the end of the fourth, then Gatti knifing Rodriguez with a body shot knockdown to come back, then knocking him out the next round.

Gatti-Robinson 1 was maybe better than Gatti-Ward too. Robinson shocked Gatti with speed, they basically traded rounds, the 6th I think was the great round, Robinson hurt Gatti and went affter him then Gatti turned it around and hurt Robinson with one punch, Robinson looked to be going away with it in the 9th, then Gatti hurt Robinson and had him flaying around the ring in the 10th. For consistent action Gatti-Robinson was probably Gatti's greatest fight, just minus the depth of drama of the Rodriguez and Ward fights. I guess Gatti's not recent anymore though, sorry.

 

What a scrap I was watching it live, I had some money on conlan because I actually fought it was Michael not Jamie lool . Nevertheless I was blown away when both men were knocked down several times. Up there with the modern day wars.

 

Andy Lee vs Craig McEwan. It was the undercard fight for the Martinez-Dzin main event. Extremely great scrap that never gets talked about. McEwan was trained by Freddy Roach and executed an excellent game plan until Lee started to find his mark and scored a hail mary KO in the 10 and final round in a fight he was losing.

 

Mike Alvarado - Mauricio Herrera was great.

one of the most savage fights ive ever seen

 

How about Nate campbell vs Juan Diaz? Lots of good action and a pretty big upset.

 

Froch Vs Taylor. That was a beast
