Broner isn't too small for welterweight, hence is weight struggles last time out despite claiming he's "serious" and facing no weight issues in training. Just because Broner has looked mediocre at welterweight doesn't mean he's too small at the weight. He's looked mediocre because he's only looked good against weak opposition.

Watching Mikey spar Maidana, you wouldn't say that he's outsized. Mikey would be competitive at welterweight because he's shown elite level skills.

 

We aren't talking about skills, though, we're talking about size...

And I never said Broner was too small for welter.
