What the hell has a whupping by Bowe have to do with Hide's speed? Bowe v Hide was like a man fighting a boy.

For me, it has to be Tyson. Damn freak.

RJJ was faster - but wasn't a "real" heavy, and couldn't/wouldn't compete against the real champ. Just saying.

not exactly accurate, if hyde had been fighting at cruiserweight instead of heavyweight i think it would be the other way round, jackson didn't exactly beat a mass of great fighters either.

Corries sanders, he had incredible fast hands, even at age 37-to 40..
Here ali was washed up bigtime at that age.

Ali is the fastest of both hand and foot speed. Tyson had the 2nd fastest hands of all time and followed by Patterson. Guys like Holmes would make the top 10 as well for both, Tubbs for hand speed, Dokes for hand speed. Bruce Seldon had fast hands as well and Herbie Hide deserves a mention for top 10. Tunney is clearly top 10. Don't forget Douglas either, when he fought Tyson he had blazing hand speed.
