He spend way too many years sparring with hearns, McCllelan, Toney, Superbad Mays, and the rest of the Detroit monsters, and they didn't spar, they fought. It would be a great fight, but If I had to bet I would take GGG.
Yeah I didn't think so either. Yet some people insist he won't slip for another 3 years but the unfortunate reality is that the work in his prime is somewhat thin and that he is now on "borrowed time", especially with his style. if he still accomplishes something "great" then he deserves all the credit in the world
Manny did say he was his best at one point I'm sure. If he was being genuine then that says it all IMO. However formidable GGG is I think the G man was on a whole other level in terms of ferociousness. And if Julian Jackson couldn't blast him out in two goes then I'd fancy McClellan to take GGGs shots.
G man is one of my all time favorites and GGG is one of my current favs. It would be a badass scrap but I'd take McClellan hands down.
