    I have no idea. But with his style I wouldn't be surprised if someone eventually caught that exposed chin with a flush shot and turned his lights off.

    I want to see the fight if someone has a link.
    La Cruz is my favorite amateur boxer, but he fights with a young man style, the cuban boxing team is going down with lots of their top names.

    Julio Cesar La Cruz is actually one of my favourite fighters, too. He is a runner, but he's a different kind of runner. He's the only runner I enjoy watching and when he's in his rhythm he's such a joy to watch.
    One of the amateur GOATs.

    But yes, he got beat by a Venezuelan market stall owner.

    I wasn't aware of this. Him getting battered by a unknown Venezualan taxi driver confirms what I've thought all along.. that he'd make a terrible pro!
