I thought Golovkin edged it. I suspect the biggest differences is how someone scored the first 3 rounds. Not a lot happened, but I thought GGG established the jab enough to win them, so I had him winning going into the 4th with the knockdown. It seems like those scoring for Jacobs edged them his way. GGG's patience crossed the line in to laziness tonight. I was shocked at the lack of urgency by all involved on his side.
Didn't quite understand that sorry? Just want to see how people here saw it, there was a similar thread for Ward-Kovalev and I want to compare.

I thought GGG hit the cleaner shots but I think Jacobs clearly outworked him. Still, Jacobs come in as a natural LHW and ducked his weigh-in during the morning so he can come walking in the ring about 180lbs tonight.
114-113 or 115 - 112. This fight was only close on a round to round basis, but GGG was in control most of the time and outlanded Jacobs considerably. Still not a good performance by GGG
GGG landed more punches GGG knocked Jacobs to canvas GGG hurt Jacobs while Jacobs never hurt GGG It was a robbery?
01. ====> 10-9 Jacobs 02. ====> 10-9 Jacobs 03. ====> 10-9 GGG 04. ====> 10-8 GGG 05. ====> 10-9 GGG 06. ====> 10-9 Jacobs 07. ====> 10-9 GGG 08. ====> 10-9 GGG 09. ====> 10-9 GGG 10. ====> 10-9 Jacobs 11. ====> 10-9 GGG 12. ====> 10-9 GGG 116-111 GGG I was off by one round from two of the judges (115-112). Have to see the official scorecards to see which rounds I differed at from them. Jacobs faded late. He was exhausted at the end of the fight and seemed to have nothing in the 11th and 12th round. But props to him. Maybe the best fight of his career.
