Kovalev and Loma are light years beyond GGG

    I said this awhile back. I was never sold on ggg weak division level of comp would come back to haunt him. Both loma and kovalev were thrown into the deep end of the pool both passed. I don't have a bad word to say about kovalev he can box and Loma is the truth. Ggg on the other hand is the product of hype people overrated kos and ggg is no different I can name a host of fighters who would beat him I can't do the same for kovalev or loma. Ggg was beaten tonight he will crawl ba l to canelo on his knees begging for a payday and canelo will laugh his ass off.

    In their biggest fights, I had Kovalev winning seven rounds against Andre Ward, a future hall of famer, and Golovkin losing seven rounds against Danny Jacobs, a good fighter. Kovalev is just flat-out better than Golovkin and has proven it against better competition.

    No need to even go into Lomachenko. He's a once-in-a-generation talent.

    Loma yes, Kovalev no. Let's see Kovalev fight a guy way bigger than him like GGG did. If Ward had the size advantage on Kovalev he would have completely dominated him.

    I always thought it was funny seeing GGG fanboys acting like GGG was a way better fighter than Kovalev and could even move up and beat him if he wanted to.

    I get Arthur Abraham vibes with Golovkin. Obviously they have different styles, and I think he's better than Abraham was as he's clearly a more skilled fighter than Abraham in just about every way, but neither really appears to have a good plan B, neither are terribly versatile, and both seem to have certain vulnerabilities to bigger athletic/quick boxer-punchers with solid power. Abraham shelled up a lot against them and couldn't land his telegraphed bombs (which I think were considerably harder than Golovkin's shots), whereas Golovkin's output and offensive variety drops a fair amount. I could see things getting ugly for Golovkin if he moved up and faced much bigger guys in similar fashion to Abraham.

    If Kovalev had GGG's jab, he'd have beaten Ward going away. The overreaction is comical. And neither is in Loma's league.

    That said, Kovalev's always been sold short, and the root problem of that goes to Duva. HBO couldn't care less which one of GGG or Kovalev got more traction with fans because they both delivered knockouts for cheap. GGG sells out stadiums on both coasts and Kovalev still has to travel around like Glen Johnson, and it's all about the levels of promotion. That ain't GGG's fault, so I don't know why the resentment is pointed at him.

    I've been saying this for years on here, about Kovalev being the better of the two. And as much as I like GGG, I was proven right, again.:lol:

    GGG just fought to a draw, bailed out by a KD against Jacobs, who while very talented, isn't that great.

    Kovalev just outboxed Andre Mother****ing Ward, case closed.:deal:

    And to all the people who vigorously argued with me when I said Kovalev would beat GGG and by KO.:eusa_dance:

    He KO's Stevenson col, deal with it. And yes Kovalev is capable of fighting guys way bigger than him, and cut the **** Jacobs wasn't way bigger tonight, he had a slight height and reach advantage, whoopty doo.

    Loma is above both but I don't believe Kovalev is a level above GGG at all.

    LOL cmon cst, you act like I have some kind of agenda. I just see Loma being the best out of them all, and GGG being more complete than Kovalev. If Kovalev put on the same performance against Ward, when Ward outweighed him by over 10 pounds then I'd favor Kovalev. Kovalev was way bigger than Ward, and Jacobs was way bigger than GGG.
