His fighting style is similar to Tito Trinidad. Aggressive fighter never bothered Hop in his prime. What troubled him were slick athletic boxers. Even at that, those fights could gone either way.

    No, not really at all.

And Trinidad is 3-2 at MW. He didn't really have much success at the weight.

Jacobs is a ko waiting to happen. I respect him but he really is vunerable. ggg proved last night hes a spent force and Jacobs still couldn't decisively beat him

I don't even bring up welters in this...They simply aren't middleweights. Trinidad was never a solid middle

I don't see it that way at all. A vulnerable KO waiting to happen would not break Golovkin's KO streak.

I agree now. but there was a time where he would've body bagged Floyd...skill wouldn't be enough, way way to weak..

Hopkins had trouble with winky,GGG used a high guard, change or describe in specific detail how Hopkins can beat GGG when Hopkins is a counterpuncher and not as good on the pressure aspect amongst WorldClass,GGG would do what Kova did jab jab step back L Step Jab All night long to a clear UD (UD in respect to a prime Hopkins)

That's what I'm getting at...Ggg was off last night, no urgency timing power. Hes fading fast. I'd take what hes being offered by canelo now. Times not on his side

I think he was Hopkins' best MW win, but I can't compare him to Golovkin, a career stand out at middle and great Champion with proven durability and power against 160-180 pound men.

Here's the thing.. Jacobs was taller, heavier, faster, younger, a powerful puncher, and executing a very smart game plan that maximized his physical advantages. That is a tall order for not only a 35 year old pressure fighter but anybody. Golovkin to his credit pulled it off.

I don't think the scores would be that wide but still no shame in that honestly

Who has ggg beat? You act like his resume is filled with hof fighters. Ggg still hasn't beaten an elite fighter or one of note. People like you who overrated ggg got a sobering dose of reality last night.
