What makes you think I was putting them in his class? They were however big world class MWs during that same era.

LOL I like your spunk boy!!! Hagler is relevant in the sense that a lot of the Golovkin fans made threads and multiple comments on how much better G is than Hagler. After last nights performance against his best opponent to date, I say G falls short in comparison. And yes, I get a kick out of being the contrarian and getting fan boys all mad and what not!

 

Evidence? You saw the fight? Any unbiased fan knew Jacob's landed the better shots throughout the fight, except the round in which he was dropped. In all seriousness, G fought a good tough fight, but I felt that DJ out worked him and landed more in the exchanges. Even when G landed shots, Jacob's answered right back +1 most of the time. G did not look like the same fighter of the past, perhaps it's because he has never been 12 rounds or that Jacobs made him look that way. Either way I had Jacobs edging G out.

Once we get the slow motion, blow by blow video we can make a better informed decision on the fight. I wasn't disappointed at all with the night of fighting we had. Got to see a potential FOTY with Little Chocolate and got some questions answered about G. All in all it was a very good night to be a fan of boxing!

 

Size wasn't the factor in this fight. It was all skill. Golovkin has the power to hurt a Jacobs sized man.

 

So Jacob's punch resistance kicked in after he got dropped? LOL G never really landed clean after that! It's not like it was a heated battle like the previous fight. Your boy squeaked out a tough win, be happy for the guy instead of hating on Jacob's!

 

Jacob's was roided out of his mind in that ring last night. It was obvious from start to finish. You have to be a fool to have missed it.

Notice he couldn't stand still during the weigh in but was pacing up and down and chomping down gum in attempt to settle himself down. Not to mention he was a complete nutcase in the centre circle in front of his home town and couldn't believe GGG had the audacity to land shots on his chin, to the point where he wanted to continue on fighting after the bell.

His heart has probably doubled in size over these last few months while he's been on the gear. I wouldnt be suprised if that was the reason for why he was having all these tumours through the years, as that is what these anabolic synthetic substances cause in the human body, the mutation of organic cells.

it was a close fight because ggg was getting tagged left and right! jacobs was swicthing stances and confusing ggg. that knockdown was a combination of jacobs being off balance, feet tripped up and pushed along with the punch, he was not hurt. ggg expended a lot of energy throwing and missing many punches. i wouldn't call it a robbery, but i could see how someone could argue for jacobs, i personally feel jacobs edged it. i have to watch it again but i did not agree with the announcers saying ggg definitevly won the 12th.

You gotta watch that fight again and see how many punches hit GGG Shoulder Back And When he was inside How GGG had The highguard and Jacobs was hitting GGG Elbows and Gloves Not Face

 

yeah and ggg had zika and his dog died the night before. jacobs also had a voodoo curse placed on ggg.

 

re watch it and see all the clean body shot jacobs was landing on ggg. how about all the clean lefts when jacobs was fighting out of the southpaw position? i do not think it was a robbery but it was close.
