Oh it definitely landed and there was some craft involved also. If you look at it closely, Dimitrenko used his left arm to move Granat's head right where he wanted it...then, BOOM. We aren't talking about James Toney here, but the veteran clearly exploited Granat's inexperience with that maneuver. Keep in mind that these are large individuals so even short punches like that can change a fight...which is why it is the premier division in boxing.

Being an Englishman aren't we supposed to have the worst chins lol.Any way its heavyweight boxing and if an heavyweight walks onto another ones shot flush there's a good chance he will hit the deck.Nothing to do with having a china chin.Trust me the power is different from any other division even the jouneyman can wack.Have GGG or Mayweather ever been knocked down by journeyman in sparring.Lewis,Vitali and prime Tyson were all decked in sparring from jouneyman pros.Anthony Joshua was knocked cold by Price,Wlad,Fury and Wilder have all been knocked down in fights. These big men can hit and it seems Granat tried to out do Parker by trying to walk Dimetrenko down and blast him away but ended up walking onto one.

Having just watched the video of this fight I can safely say the boxing world might have found someone fit to fill David Price's shoes if the big plumber decides to retire.

That was a Price-esque performance from the big Swede. Awesome.

Dimitrenko is a great fighter no doubt. Lets compare how Huey Fury does against Parker. Only an elite level HW could ever beat Parker, Fury is more than ready to prove that he is an elite level Heavyweight.

Dimitrenko is actually a German citizen , although ethnically he is Russian.

But Usyk is Ukrainian, he does not identify as Russian.

    Well, I'm very much surprised.

I was never particularly blown away by Granat, but he seemed okay. Like he should be able to get through Dimitrenko at least.

    Interesting seeing that fight footage.

I don't remember seeing Dimitrenko fight as quickly and aggressively as that, although I haven't seen all his fights. And I suppose it might've only been due to how rocked Granat was after the KD.

But it seems like Dimitrenko had a fire in his gut.

Can't help but wonder if it was the pharmaceutical kind. After that loss against Parker.
