There is an argument for Jacobs winning 7 rounds. There is an argument for Golovkin winning 8 rounds. Anything higher than either of those I would consider too generous/bad scorecard. Fact of the matter is, it was a close fight and the knockdown gave Golovkin the cushion. Most people see Golovkin as the winner but it was indeed a close fight. The stats back up Golovkin.
I gave round 2 to GGG and I'm confident about that. I gave 1 (debatable either guy could have received it) 6,7,8 (again debatable all three judges gave GGG) and 10, 11 to Jacobs. Very close fight. The KD won it for GGG in my view. However I could wider scores for GGG. Jacobs had moments but I felt he lost
2 is a debate, I would give it to the champion being more accurate then Jacob swinging and hitting GGG Gloves and Elbows
It was a tough fight to score and i think the reputation of each fighter played a part to how people scored it. I had Jacobs just nicking it though
