Some of you haven't got a clue so I will break it down for you.

Jacobs didn't skip the morning weigh in because he is a natural heavyweight that cuts from 225lbs.

The guy is clearly a very big middleweight but if he went up a division guys like Gilberto and Callum Smith would make him look like Peewee Herman, even Groves and JCC jr are miles bigger.

Jacobs was targeting coming in @ 175-180, very typical weight for him and also a typical weight for GGG.

The problem for Jacobs arose when they brought the original weigh in forward and Jacobs was going to have to dehydrate those extra few hours. Team Jacobs would have been super pissed his build up was going to be stunted by these **** poor officials. I saw morons saying having the extra hours was going to be an advantage for a bigger guy but that is simply untruthful when the morning weigh in was unchanged. In fact being the so called bigger man it would have been a hindrance.

In fairness I think GGG was severely disadvantaged because having that extra time to recover allowed Jacobs to be at optimal condition, GGG had to sweat it out that bit longer and even though GGG still had plenty of time to get to 175-180 he didn't get to have that extra hydration time.

Jacobs had already fully hydrated the night before, woke up at 176 and entered the ring at a similar weight.

Its quite moronic to say a man can keep on hydrating for 48 hours, the human body has limits, eventually that will just be **** weight and you are just bloated which is a negative.

When did 3G weigh 180? You're still trying to paint 3g as some huge weight cutter, when EVERYTHING says otherwise. You don't get to make sh*t up just to lie James.

This is quite different to the other threads, nobody is talking about that early weigh in and many idiots thought it was beneficial for a bigger man

All of my points are valid especially when nuthuggers claim Canelo walks around at 175-180 when evidence suggests otherwise and Canelo is miles smaller than GGG

You said 3G and Jacobs were the same size in the ring. How the f*ck can tyou even say thatg with a straigh face, unless you really are rather blind, and forgot your glasses.

You have no proof on 3G's in ring weight, yet you talk sh*t about it all the time. Freakin produce something tangible so you don't just come off as another idiot here.

It was beneficial that the original weigh in was moved to an earlier time.. Jacobs got at least 6 extra hours to rehydrate.. you just said so yourself in the OP.. I'm confused with your post above...???

You can rehydrate just as much in 36 hours as you can in 40 hours, the extra hours make no difference in terms of weight.

The issue here is having the early weigh in and then having the morning weigh in at the original time. This just means you have to stay in a state of distress because your body is starved of water for a longer period of time.

Jacobs refused to be held to these conditions because it was harmful to his performance.

If GGG is indeed 170lbs it wouldn't have affected him because he was already hydrated and didn't have to starve his body of water for those unnecessary extra hours.

Right... harmful like GGG had to do? What the ****? You can't even call a spade a spade, homey reneged, went back on his word to get yet another advantage.

Of course I believe it was an advantage, but if you think GGG was actually 170lbs than how was it any different to every other non IBF title fight?

Sergio Mora knocked down a non same day weigh in Jacobs
Pirog ktfo a non same day weigh in Jacobs?

This is why your thread is as dumb as ****. You're trying to defend a chickenass reneger. Oh it's about GGG's weight now? He wasn't affected, yet you decry Jacobs would not put up with that sort of condition because it was harmful to his performance. WHAT the ****, you high man. Do you not even use logic to make sense of this stupid ass thread????

It was stated on broadcast that Jacob's team was quoted as saying their plan was for him to be 180 or heavier in the ring and that is why they skipped the weigh in.

Why write a narrative that contradicts what the man's own team stated?

HBO listed Golovkin unofficially at 170 before the fight. Where is this 180 claim?
