    GGG isnt far off. There's a huge respect for him in the UK, both as a fighter and as a man

    Well what else is he?? Just because your born in a country doesn't make you that nationality. All of his family are from Nigeria both of his parents were born there so he is a Nigerian who has been raised in Watford. I'm sure he is loves the country he has been raised in and flys the flag for the uk with pride but I'm also sure he will be extremely proud of his roots.

    Back to the topic at hand I think floyd ended up gaining a lot of uk fans respect and his shows over here recently have all been sell outs. He has made a killing over here lately.

    Just about any top level fighter will get respect over here because its so rare we get see them on these shores.

    Still all about the notorious smith brothers for me though. World level.
