Only using the popular 3. Who's the best and how do you rank them?

    Skill: Lomachenko>Kovalev>Golovkin

    Kovalev is the most underrated.

It's easy to see why Loma is the most skilled. He beautifully blends defensive and offensive boxing. Quick on his feet, great head movement and almost always in position to strike. His plus minus ratio is better than Mayweather's, I believe. Also, he's dominating his 2nd weight class and may even hit his 3rd. Weight jumping is impressive.

Kovalev BARELY takes a spot over Golovkin for one important reason: defensive head movement. He's a destroyer that has massively underrated boxing skills. He showed he can box when he fought to a close decision with Andre Ward. Regardless who you felt won or what the official decision was, I think Kovalev is still the man at 175. A rematch will settle it.

Golovkin is extremely talented with his timing and accuracy. He's an excellent stalker and a relentless puncher with a chin that makes Jay Leno blush. Why do I put Kovalev above him? Golovkin gets hit too much.

Loma imo is the most talented and is going to get better.

Kova is more dangerous and a little better than GGG. And GGG is great.

    Lomachenko

I like all three but there's no doubt that skillwise Lomachenko is the best of the lot.

Definitely Lomachenko is the best. I love to watch him box. Kovalev is also an underrated boxer. I think he is a better boxer than a slugger. Golovkin, I never was that high on or understood the hype. He has always appeared pretty basic to me.

See I always felt Golovkin was basic too but he gets the job done. He doesn't do anything crazy, just basic boxing really.

eastern european????? What the hell.................. .

GGG is from Kazahkstan. It is nothing to do with europe, and Kovalev is from a little city not far away from Chelyabinsk-far away from europe.
And even Loma stems from Odessa which may be part of europe-geographically-but is light years away from europe in terms of mentality and culture.Well,at least Loma can be called an eastern european but to call Kovalev or GGG eastern europeans is a joke.
Kovalev is Russian-not an eastern european, and neither is GGG.

Why didn't you include power? Or this only about technical ability? Also would like to add that Loma has by far the worst jab of all these fighters. Kovalev has the best jab in the game. And GGG is arguably the 2nd best jabber.

Also ferocity is a huge part of rating a fighter. Look at a list of the top 20 ATG's or so. Very few of them were not known for extreme tenacity. Leonard and Ali weren't the most ferocious of fighters for example. But they both were rugged fighters with good strength, iron chins. And Leonard when he wanted to be could get real nasty in that ring too.

I think he meant in geopraphical terms not culturally. Ukraine, Russia and Kazakhstan are all European countries located towards the Eastern end of Europe. That's where those guys are from.

Golovkin is Asian. There are Afghans who look like him.

    Kovalev looks Tatarian

Nothing about Golovkin's power or chin is basic. He has legitmate top notch A level power and chin. Which is almost unheard of. To be a true banger and a true iron chin.

Guys Kovalev would have destroyed a LHW Salido version. Yes it was his second fight, but Kovalev would have sent a LHW Salido to the hospital and have him eating through a straw.

Just technical ability. Not physical attributes like speed, power, or chin.
