Great fight. As a Brit I'm hoping Brook wins but if Spence works him over its nothing to do with weight or eye issues, it's because he's better.

And if Brook does in Spence, he isn't some overhyped bum.

I remember two fighters the US sent over here who were "huge punchers" and huge favourites with the bookies and were going to destroy their British opponents..

Jeff Lacy and Gerald McClellan and they were sent them home completely ruined.

Most of the fights I've seen, Infact 99% of Spence fights he's been on the front foot.

 

There's the fight right there. If Brook can back Spence up, he wins. However, if he can't, he gets beat down.

 

Wouldn't see it in the states because you'd be as well hosting the fight in a morgue, better atmosphere at a Sunday league football game

 

This I agree with, a lot of Brook huggers are claiming if Brook beats up Spence he's a Lacy????
Even if Brook batters Spence, I will still rate Spence higher than Lacy for sure, Brook will just be a different class.

If Spence batters Brook (as I expect), Brook is not ruined and weight drained, ffs Spence cuts more than Brook.
Even Spence would be undersized @ 154, let alone 160. They are both true big 147lbers, the rest of the division is made up of guys who mostly moved up. 147 is a small division, Crawford would be a big 147er when he moves up.

 

Rhetoric for his fanboys. What he did against ggg has little relevance to this fight. Different fighter, different styles, size, everything. I wanted to see this fight cause I'm more than confident it will be a good fight and Spence's coming out party. Brook is to be commended that he decided to defend his belt instead of vacating despite his delay tactics.
