How Do You Beat Loma

Beat Loma.. Well I would do what my son does to me, give me a PS4 controller that has really spongy buttons and sit back and watch the rage.

Me: "it's not working, I am telling you this pad isn't not working, stop laughing at me you Moby, I mean it, stop laughing......."

Him: "Oh my god you're awful, what level do you normally play on? Beginner?, want me to LET YOU SCORE?

Me: "No, I'm not playing anymore, I am not playing with a cheat"

Him: "Hahahahahaha"

Beating Loma in a boxing ring right now? Forget it, No chance.

 

The style that would be most effective against Loma is that of a highly skilled pressure fighter who goes to the body exceptionally well, cuts off the ring well, and is willing/able to take a punch or two to land one of his own. Salido fits the bill in some ways, which is why he was able to have as much success as he did. It would take a much better version of Salido to defeat Loma now though.

Of course, another reason Salido was successful was that he was willing to get down and dirty, to use some of the "tricks of the trade" so to speak and see what he could get away with. I liken it somewhat to how Maidana fought Mayweather in their first fight. He was fearless and he didn't give a you know what. He was gonna use every bit of himself to beat Floyd, and boy did he run him close. That's the kinda guy that beats Loma: fearless, intense, focused, and willing to make things extremely rough in the trenches. A ref that will let him get away with it helps too of course.

 

Loma Controls Fights much like Golovkin....a few Years back Prince Naseem looked unbeatable and Toyed with Opposition and controlled all of His Fights...then along came Barrera who would not cop that Sh1t...everyone has a Kryptonite if there is a powerful Big Hitting fighter out there who takes it up to Loma and will not be intimidated that's when he will be beaten.....trouble is I don't see that type of fighter in his division at the moment.!!!!

 

Body him (easier said than done). If he's allowed to box, he will dominate probably anyone.

 

Loma got the same style as Manny except his skills are sharper and he's faster. So how'd you beat Manny?

 

No he doesn't fight like Golovkin. At all, he shifts which Triple G sometimes does.

He fights like pac, and from the pocket. Look at his head and foot feints then watch a Manny in killer stage fight

 

Pressure, pressure, pressure.

 

I said he likes to control his fights much like Golovkin....that's what makes him hard to beat....the pressure both fighters put on there opponents is from constant unrelenting Pressure..at no stage did I say there styles are similar.!!!
