Very idiotic . It was getting very irritating the way they kept going and going on about the GGG performance .

They were bragging as if Brook knocked GGG out or even came close to doing so. It was ridiculous.

Brook is living off of 2 good rounds against Golovkin, Spence said it best.

nothing Brook says about his fight with GGG surprises me after what Brook said in the ring immediately after the fight.

which in summary was that the only reason his corner threw in the towel was because Brook couldn't see properly due to the broken orbital bone--but for that, Brooks went on to say, the fight was going according to plan, the next phase of which to dominate GGG in the later rounds (survive in the first five rounds and dominate the remainder of the fight, was the plan as he explained it).

just my opinion but if you are going to open your mouth immediately after the fight and say in essence that "except for this bit of bad luck i would have kicked GGG's ass", then you bloody well better ask for a rematch in the next breath.

not really, it's no coincidence that since a welterweight showed certain vulnerabilities in golovkin that a true middleweight took him the distance and beat him in alot of peoples opinion. He also took away the fear factor, no doubt about it jacobs watched a welterweight take clean shots off golovkin and felt if he can take them why wont i be able to being the bigger man. He also showed in spots good footwork and using lateral movement to stop golovkins pressure footwork.

 

Odd, Jacobs himself said he was weary of Golovkin's power and scared to let his hands go until after the knockdown.
