I was very happy when he beat Haye. The guy keeps finding a way to win! What's next for him? Does he go back down to cruiser? Does he stand a chance against Usyk?
The Guy is a Joke , hopefully he will retire , he couldnt beat an one legged David Haye in my opinion and lost 4 of the first 5 Rounds. If it was not for the injury, he would have lost that Fight and everybody knows that , he would have lost on Points or he would have got banged out. If he thinks he can beat Deontay Wilder or any legit Heavyweight now , he is deluded. He should go to a psychiatrist then , because he is suicidal. By the way his Accent is annoying and absolutely terrible , nothing against Liverpudlians , not everyone sounds terrible , but he does for sure.
It's strange but Bellow appears to be one of those fighters who appearance wise, no matter hard hard they train or work out, they just can't get any muscle definition on their bodies. I'm sure he's not and he does train hard but he just looks out of shape. It's was actually in the Creed movie that I really noticed it for the first time. I was thinking that he's in a major Hollywood movies which millions around the world will watch and he doesn't seem to have made any effort to get into decent shape but now I think he's just one of those people who just can't look well trained and cut no matter how hard he tries.
He's already said there's too much money at HW for him to move back down. It seems the Haye rematch is likely. If not, he'll be Wilder's next fight after he's got past Wach.
Cash out and retire, then become a pundit Bellew doesn't want any cruiserweight fight because none make the money that a Haye rematch or HW title fight would Business wise you can't blame him, it's just not good from the boxing point of view. I wish he'd vacate the WBC belt and let people go for it
He is going to take the biggest money fight out there for him at HW in the next 6 months. Then fight Haye in the rematch in 12 months Then retire. Moving back to CW at all would be pointless. He needs to cash out on his win.
Wanna see Bellew getting used to HW. Fight against Szpilka. After that a fight against Pulev. Then a last big payday against Joshua. He could retire afterwards, stay in boxing as a commentator though.
What makes you think like that? Pulev way past his prime and Szpilka's chin would eventually crack in the later rounds when he isnt as cautious.
He should rematch Haye since it was a great fight and I would want to see it again. Not only because it was fun but because I think Haye was winning pretty comofortably up until his glass body failed him again.
