I feel they should put him in there with some stiff competition since, he's talking smack about being the savior of the division.

Maybe Golota would have balls to step in? Seriously, Haye needs a basic heavyweight lesson before he jumps into Golota, or any of those big mofos.

A guy who goes through hell to win a decision over Mollo and is a chinny, slow, 40 year old fighter is not going to give Haye a real test.

I can't see Haye getting a title shot till he proves himself in a big way.

Wlad has to fight Thompson, then Povetkin, and then probably another unification fight.

Peter has a tuneup, then Vitali, then the winner of Gomez-Virches.

And Chagaev has to face Valuev, then there is talk of a Golota-Meehan match up in an eliminator.

Unless he wants to fight for the WBF belt he is going to be waiting awhile.

Gotta disagree with you on that one partner. Golota with his head screwed on straight is a problem for anybody.

Matt Skelton has been mentioned...but hopefully not. He has a great chin, heart and stamina, but is lacking in nearly every other department. Whatever Haye done in that fight he would get no praise. Plus Skelton hasn't got much of a dig for a HW, so there wouldn't be much of a chin-testing angle to factor into the equation.

Someone in the upper end of the 20-10 bracket of the independent rankings would suffice IMO.

    No, no.

Golota is the more likely to implode under pressure than most in the upper echelons of the division.

If he really wants to be known in this division he should fight somebody in the top ten.

Alexander Dimitrenko should be a good opponent.

    6'7" - 83" reach; 28 (18 KOs) - 0 loss - 0 draw.

Rated #5 by WBC and WBA; rated #4 by IBF; rated #2 by WBO

    :D  :yep

You guys do realise how **** this HW division is don't you?

Do you think any of these top 10 fighters in their current condition would have been top 10 HW's in the 90s?.

Haye is for real, speed reflexes sick power, athletisism

It wouldn't be the first time Tyson got rated in the top 10 after a long absence. Back in 1995, he got a number 1 ranking BEFORE his first comeback fight. :-(

And a questionable chin coupled with a smallish mass for todays HW division... I see someone like Wladimir Klitschko or even Sam Peter blowing him out.

For all his bravado, it will definately be a realatively safe opponent that no one wants to see.

Dominick Guin? Davarel Williamson? Monte Barret? Lance Whitaker? Timor Ibrigamov?

Haye's contract with Golden Boy states he has to fight someone in the top 10 of the 4 sanctioning bodies. There are some garbage fighters in the top 10 especially the IBF and WBO. He will handpick an easy fight.

That's exactly who I was also thinking of. I'd bet they never go near this guy.
