You've got me wrong I'm certainly not on a downer regarding modern fighters I love Triple G he's my favourite modern day fighter, of all the fighters now he's the one I would pay to go and see. On the AJ thread I stated several times I like the lad and think he has a shot of being the most dominant heavyweight of his generation. I certainly take your point on resumes, it's a totally different game now, it is much more difficult to establish a great record. Regarding the AJ / Ali thread I called out a couple of posters who were making totally outlandish claims on the skills of Joshua in comparison to Ali who they totally denigrated. I'll always fight Ali's corner on here!
I think GGG beats Hearns because the only way you really beat him is pull him into a firefight. GGG for his flaws is a really good ring cutter and has showed an excellent chin. It's the formula Iran Barkely and Marvin Hagler followed. Though GGG is no Hagler, He may just be an Iran Barkley. I say this as a huge Hearns fan who based my boxing style largely off of his.
Daniel Jacobs Iran Barkley level fighters. GGG would get badly embarrassed by some of the 'names' being dropped here. RJJ would humiliate triple g, as would hagler, hearns, duran and especially Toney. Toney prolly knocks him out.
