    Great stuff Rummy.
    Amazing to see how small Marciano is and what a right hand!!
    He caught him flush twice in both fights and ended the matter.

    I love that first fight. Jersey Joe put on such a masterful performance, and Rocky had no quit in him.

    If I had a DeLorean, the one thing I wish I could do is go back in time and capture HD footage of so many of these older classics. If that bout was filmed with modern technology in HD resolution - I am absolutely convinced that this fight would appear even more thrilling with all of the added details and modern filming techniques.

    Notice walcott knew how to deal with aggressive fighters without fighting like a wuss? He actually dealt damage off his back foot, something these "slick" bums today can't do yet still win rounds for not punching. What walcott did for the first half of the fight, was called "boxing", HIT and not get hit. These "slicksters" today can only not get hit, they can barely hit back or do any damage.

    I have that fight on DVR HD, have a lot of Marciano's fights...................one hell of a fighter and real power. He trained harder than any other fighter in history.............
