I used to think like a Floyd hater. The Canelo win was the eye opener because I really thought Canelo would stomp on him.

Love him or hate him, the man can box!

People are overvaluing the Corrales win. Corrales blew up in weight and went to hell and back to make the weight, he was a dead man walking and this was all so he could pay for the lawsuit. Corrales went on to make 130 easier as there wasn't this kind of desperation and he was having complete training camps (and he didn't balloon up in weight to that depressive extent).

That fight was probably the best he's ever looked, though.
This thread is not about best 'performance' but best win H2H.

Not listed in specific order, but I do think these are his top ten victories...

    Alvarez
    Pacquiao
    Corrales
    Genaro
    Castillo II
    Hatton
    Oscar
    Cotto
    Mosley
    Marquez

Next up would be: Castillo I, Judah, Gatti

Hatton was clearly smaller than Mayweather. Floyd referred to Ricky as a 'midget' on camera on multiple occasions.
I am not trying to diminish Floyds win over Hatton here, I am sure they were close to the same weight on fight night and Mayweather would school him regardless of what weight it was fought.

De La Hoya would be in the top 3 for me even if Floyd didn't particularly shine.
Corrales too (on the condition he wasn't the zombie some claim)
I'm torn between Cotto, Pac & Mosley for the 3rd spot (I know shane was old & clean but he hurt Floyd, who recovered and proceeded to F Shane up for the rest of the fight- I was impressed with the toughness he displayed)

Funny thing is, all during Floyd's reign, Pimp C and about all *****s used to say Floyd canstill make 140.

But when he had the chance to add the JwWW linear title to his list, they fought at 147 instead. Anyone with half a brain could see Floyd was more adept to 147 then Hatton ever was.

What you fail to realize is that PBF already tried to get Hatton in the ring when he was at 140 after he beat Gatti and Hatton beat Zoo. Team Hatton declined saying they weren't ready. What do you expect PBF to do? Sit around and wait? No he moved up to chase Zab at 147. You can't expect PBF who had fought Oscar at 154 who was lineal at 147 and the new king of the sport for his next fight to move all the way back down to 140 to face Hatton, it's unrealistic. The weight of this fight made no difference Hatton even stated that he liked it being at 147 because he wouldn't have to spend as much time training for weight and PBF wasn't a big WW anyway. Lastly, Hatton at 140 on fight night weighed more than PBF did on fight night at 147. The weight is an excuse used to try and discredit PBF's win/ In fact I always have stated that had PBF fought Hatton at 140 after he beat Gatti that he would have beaten Hattton worse than he did at 147. PBF lost alot of lateral movement and handspeed at 147.

Pimp...no one fails to realize that. DO YOU fail to realize Hatton wanted the fight bigger in the US, hence the couple he took prior to fighting Mayweather? Did you not realize that? Of course you did. We were both here.

Where do you get the idea he had to sit around and wait? No one said he had to do that. All that stuff about Zab and Oscar have diddly to do with floyd versus Hatton. Nothing at all.

Point is, YOU and a million other *****s claimed Floyd could make 140. But he would rather face Hatton at 147, where Floyd had the advantage. We both know that to be the case.

He fought Hatton at 147 because Hatton declined to fight PBF at 140 when both were there. Blame Hatton for the fight not happening at 140 not PBF. Like I said before you can not expect PBF to move down from 154 to 140 when he was the new king of the sport and was lineal at 147 and hadn't fought at 140 in years add to that Hatton won a title at 147 to boot. No other boxer would do that if they were in PBF's position. Hatton made no excuses about the weight so why should you? Hatton was beaten by a better fighter period. I thought PBF could make 140 before he moved to 154 to fight Oscar not after that.

Maybe you should have told all the *****s who kept saying Floyd can make 140 to STFU then. Instead, you guys were all happy to kiss each others butts over posts.

F*ckin hell Pimp...WHAT excuse did I make? Quote it... Fact is, I didn't. Did I say ANYWHERE Hatton lost because they fought at 147? No.

Castillo Lost the first fight, won the second. Castillo not an atg. Good win after a loss.
Corrales A bit weight drained but a good win and i give Floyd credit for it although not vs an atg.
Canelo Drained Canelo down to 150!!! 23 and green. Also Canelo is overrated asf!!! Has heart and i enjoy his fights but hes not p4p imho.

    Runner up:
Pacman Injured, still couldnt finish him and wanted no parts of pac and lost the few exchanges.
Mosley Nearly got ko`d by a washed up Moseley. Sure he was still a decent fighter but nowhere near elite.
Hatton Blown up lightweight who was always a limited fighter.

Overall he has some good wins but nothing that defined him and left an exclamation on his career. Because of this lacking resume i have no idea how great he really is. I could name several fighters that would go through his resume undefeated.

Castillo, Corrales and Hatton. Maybe swap DLH for Hatton. But those are his best wins.

A lot of people saying corrales was a great win, from what I remember Floyd absolutely destroyed him easily. Corrales was a good fighter but not as good as people on here think.
