I'll tell you after I see Brook vs Spence, but for now I'm picking Thurman by UD because we know more about him.
Spence by tko but this will be fireworks while it lasts. Only fight I'm confident could be a possibly better than hagler hearns because instead of one all time great round we'll get many great rounds Thurman ain't no joke and that mofo WILL only go out swinging like crazy
I might change my mind after Brook vs Spence, but right now I have to go with Thurmanator by close decision.
Keith Thurman by brutal one-punch knockout. 'One Time' can only lose this bout if he gets caught with a lethal body shot, otherwise he's clearly winning, being the superior boxer with the far tighter defense and, more importantly, the greater I.Q. upon the ring: I believe he would easily avoid Spence's excessively mechanical offense plan and confuse him with cunning lateral movement, finishing his dreams of glory with an highlight-reel left hook KO. Well, this may still not happen, since there's an angry Sheffield lion who will surely want to be the first to capture Errol's scalp
Well im believing the Spence hype. I know he hasnt yet got the resume to back it up and still got experiene but i think he is already a level above Thurman and only getting better. If they fought tonight id say it would be 50/50 whether it went the distance or not but id only predict a Spence win. The fact he is a little green still may prove to be a big thing in the Brook fight but i dont think Thurman is a smart enough fighter to take advantage of it.
The great thing is that we probably get this one next year. I am real high on Thurman but I'm kind of buying the Spence Jr hype and think he will justify this against Brook. Agree with 'StaminaKills'.
As it stands Thurman, too many unknowns about Spence. If Spence beats Brook then he would have a decent shot at beating Thurman too. All 3 fighters above are of a similar level I feel.
Thurman: better foot work, more mobile in the ring, he doesn't pose when he fires shots, he's durable, he's been in with every style except an extremely quick guy (someone faster than him). Thurman has passed every test and is well vetted.
I will withhold my comment until Spence faces his first high quality opponent. I need to see how he does when facing another top level guy. Beating up Bundu, and Algieri, doens't mean he would beat Thurman. If he gives Brook the business. Then we may have something.
Spence is the future in my eyez. So I don't feel Thurman will beat him . But I can see why most are picking One-Time to get the W . He is the more proven fighter definitely.
