Roach also said Rigo was untouchable during training gloves sessions. I spoke to Rigo once he told he was unhappy in California also he did not like Freedy putting him to do sparring against bigger guys sometime 160 pounders.
It's been 4 years since that win over Donaire and he's lost all the momentum from that big win. Rigondeaux is going to be 37 this year and there's little time left for him to land anymore major fights. If he gets by Flores(not a given at this point) he needs to do whatever it takes to land a big fight or he'll run out of time.
