Wlad will probably retire after the Joshua Fight. Povetkin will probably have just retired in 3-4 years. Wilder will have been exposed. Joshua should still be in the top 10 if his chin can hold up. Usyk will have moved up. Who knows what Tyson Fury will be doing.I think it'll be the guys turning pro this year.. Hrgovic, Dychko, Joyce, etc. who'll be the main guys alongside some of the pro prospects. Hrgovic will be the main man I think, and i think the top 10 could look something like this.

    Filip Hrgovic
    Oleksandr Usyk
    Oleksandr Teslenko
    Ivan Dychko
    Sergey Kuzmin
    Anthony Joshua
    Joe Joyce
    Rostislav Plechko
    Simon Kean
    Tony Yoka

After 5 years top10 would be something like this for me: Joshua, Wilder, Parker for sure. Then I would say Andy Ruiz JR if he keeps fit and in a good shape. Also Usyk could probably move up. Rivas could be promising if he doesn't suffer problems and injuries. Gassiev looks huge for cruisers too so he can move up. Sergey Kuzim is getting developed pretty well. Aaaand my surprising pick goes to one of the chineese heavies.

Ortiz is way too old! Plus he's not even that good. Parker maybe.. but I don't think he's good enough to last at the top for that long. we'll see.

    Top 5

    1. Anthony Joshua will be in his prime
    2. Joseph Parker will be in his prime
    3. Oleksandr Usyk will be 35 years old
    4. Murat Gassiev will be in his prime
    5. Andy Ruiz jr will be in his prime

Wilder , Ortiz , Pulev , Povetkin and Klitschko are too old in 5 years

The amateurs are very different to the professional game.

Just look at David Price of a great example of that rule.

No amateur, no matter how good in the amateurs is a "lock" to be top 10 at world level in the professional ranks.

He has definitely potential but we have to see him at pro Level first , before we can make a prediction

Great post. I'm not too keen on Wilder, Wlad being 41, Fury in re-hab, and Ortiz being old.

The next wave of young guns is badly needed. My comment below:

Filip Hrgovic - The best set of all around tools of the bunch. Great chin, good power, good skills.

Oleksandr Usyk - Perhaps themes skilled of the lot, but also the smallest. at 6'3" with a 78" reach, this cruiser weight can move up to 215-220 and be a very good heavyweight.

Oleksandr Teslenko - The speed, power, and offensives game is excellent. 6'4", should max out around 228-230 pounds. Looks a bit like Wlad, except his not affarid to take a punch. and can in-fight a bit.

Ivan Dychko - Very tall, 6'9" tall, and very mobile. Decent skills. Needs to work on his power a bit for the pro game, but he can go far.

Sergey Kuzmin - A bear like man with durability, power, and fear skills. Speed is not his thing. Kuzmin comes to fight.

Anthony Joshua - The best blend of size, speed and power of the bunch but his chin was an issue in the amateurs, so it will be an issue in the pro's. He fights Wlad next.

Joe Joyce - A brutal puncher type to the head or body. Not much for defense though. Ko'd by Kuzmin in the amateurs, but he appears study.

Rostislav Plechko - Never saw him.

Simon Kean - Looks like an in shape bouncer, but he can box and punch. Speed is not Kean's thing. Kean is very big, and wide with a 6'5" frame.

Tony Yoka - A highly skilled big man who's fast and hard to out box, but with a softer chin. Not one who likes to mix it.

LOL, give it a rest Billy & sorry none of them are American. Well Kean is Canadian, so maybe you can root for him

That list has 2-4 world champions on it.
