At this point Arum is just being a bully and an *******. Pac should be fighting Thurman. Roach said he likes that matchup. Make it happen.

I would have him fighting Thurman. If he's smart he lets the winner of Spence vs Brook fight Thurman first then fight the winner for all the belts at 147. Till then he needs to fight people who make him money with no risk. So Broner, Khan, Swift is still a good scalp even with a lost and it's not like he's never fought someone after they lost. Peterson would be a good scalp.

Pac would probably beat Thurman right now, he won't beat the Spence vs Brook winner though.

But why fight Thurman when you can have Brook or Spence do your dirty work for you? Mannys old and done his job as an ATG. He needs to get the young guys to do his work.

Don't like hearing excuses like, he is old and earned easy fights, has done his job etc. Pac is still competing at a high level, as he showed in whooping Bradley the last time. He doesn't need easy fights. Anybody who still has the will and drive to fight and challenge themselves, should. Jeff Horn isn't ****. Arum needs to get the **** out of here with that bull****, and let Pac fight Thurman ASAP.

Everybody without their head completely immersed in sand knows Bob Arum has been trying to make Jeff Horn Manny Pacquiao's next opponent since December.

Neither Pacquiao nor Horn has fought since December. So that remains Arum's aim.

Pacquiao and his adviser Michael Koncz got themselves derailed for a while by a mirage in the UAE that amounted to mothing. But according to recent quotes from Arum, negotiations for Pacquia-Horn are now well advanced.

How is it an excuse?! Manny is older it's a fact, his style favors him when he's younger that's just pure facts /shrug. I agree that Horn is an awful pick. Worst than Berto. Thurman vs Pacman doesn't mean much?! Pacman has already cemented, his legacy at this point. Thurman beating him means very little in comparison if he had got it before 2014

What Khan has to say about Pacquiao-Khan not happening :

“So basically me and Manny and our teams were speaking for like the last 6 weeks on making the fight happen. The fight didn’t happen because Bob Arum (Pacquiao’s promoter) said that the investors in Dubai or wherever, UAE, couldn’t put the money together and they needed more time. So what we decided was, look fine, we’ll go our own way. I wanted to fight Manny Pacquiao. It would have been a great fight. Manny is a great champion. We are friends but sometimes you have to put you’re friendship aside. It would have been a great fight but Bob obviously called it off. He didn’t really believe it. So I told my manager Al Haymon to find me another fight. So we are looking at fighting again in April or maybe May. In the meanwhile if the Manny Pacquiao fight ever happens – then it’s something we would take.”

Honestly I can't understand why everyone come on here's complaining about this fight like it is the first time a potential mismatch has ever happened.

Fun fake mismatches are the staple of this sport.

bob does not want to risk his young star in Crawford against even this Pac he still feels Pac has something left why would he let Pac beat his young star and retire leaving him empty handed?
