I think this will need to be re branded to BT PPV if it is to work. Any fight that FW secures which is PPV worthy would surely be wanted by BT Sport. BT sport investment in boxing ultimately is to have PPV to rival sky, therefore I cannot see how this BN PPV can work?? BTW I've been a boxnation subscriber for 3 years.
If you're an existing BoxNation subscriber, you'll get the ppv as part of your subscription. Its really for everyone else on BT or Sky that are not subscribed and want to watch a one off event.
No iget that, but my point is that any fight that warrants PPV, then BT will want to be associated with, therefore it should change it's name to BT PPV.
Boxnation what's the point would be a better question- I don't see how this new deal changes much for them at their trajectory.
The thing with the bt/box nation tie up is that it confuses so many people. It's not clean and simple like the sky system is it.
Totally agree mate. There was a guy on here who constantly stuck the boot in about Boxnation and I am sure he predicted that the current Boxnation model was dead with BT taking over. Not quite happened yet but this looks the first step of the above process. Can see Boxnation disappearing and Frank ending up with a good deal on BT. Good to see BT previewing the card tonight so it looks like they are serious about Boxing.
