You have to smother him, if you let him work, you are getting schooled.
But you have to be smart with your defense because if you fight with non stop pressure he will take you apart.
If you watch his amateur fights you will know that Loma was far more aggressive as an amateur, so he can break you in close.

Other than the obvious eventual fighting someone too big for him,

I think a very tall rangy guy with a great jab (that he could pump to
keep Loma having to reset), power, and excellent footwork (clearly won't
be as good as Loma, but having the ability to quickly move in and out of
range) could give him trouble stylistically. Not necessarily win, but trouble him.

I know of only two fighters that fit these dimensions, but both are one
weightclass higher and I question if either would be ready.

I don't know any fighter prime that would beat him...He's like a nicer version of Mayweather on the eye...You know on form hes not getting beat. Just for the record, hes an exceptionally gifted individual I think that even puts Money May in the shade. Good to watch, breath taking even

I think lomas skilled enough to transition plus the 400 fights he had he has to have fought bigger rangy guys

A fight with a prime Gamboa would have been interesting.

Mayweather never used angles and was a pressure fighter, probably against lower class athletes

I agree for the most part, I don't see him losing anywhere
near his weightclass, I'm playing devil's advocate.

    ultimately he's what 5'5? A 5'11 guy with a good,
jab and good legs would be the only type I'd even
give a remote chance at him. No one his size.

I think Mikey Garcia has the style to beat him combined with his great jab size and power.

He wasn't cruising to anything. How many Crawford fights have you seen? Crawford is a slow starter once he found his grove that fight was over.
