Linares, Loma, Crawford then Thurman and he becomes an ATG. Wins of course.

Run, Mikey, Run. Your daddy Loma is coming up to 135. Get the hell out of there before it's too late!

The fact that he said it directly after Thurman fought Garcia had me thinking that he may have seen something in the fight that made him believe that he could defeat Thurman. Perhaps he thinks he sees some liability in Keith that he can capitalize on. Or, maybe he's just blowing a bit of steam.

I don't think Loma possesses the punching power to make any 135 pounder run up north tbh. Loma is most definitely skilled and a fight between Mikey and Loma would be a true gift to the fans. Hope this fight happens!

Didn't even see this thread when I posted about Garcia wanting Thurman in the other thread.

Here's the video from last night

Because they are smart; Crawford is too big combined with too good. I like One Time, but he's vulnerable and camp Garcia is likely in agreement.

Why's this so difficult to believe? Thurman isn't some kind of monster and his power has shown to be overrated.

Tiny ass shot Pac would beat Thurman. Abel Sanchez, Freddie Roach, and Robert Garcia all pick Pac to beat Thurman. Roach wanted that fight badly.

just like im sure thurman is no match for spence, i think mikey outpoints him by making him look like a straight up runner. thurman is b+ level fighter. spence, crawford, mikey and loma are a- level at worst.

Thurman isn't a very big 147 fighter. His power also isn't there after the first 4-5 rounds. However, Thurman tends to be very explosive early in fights and could stop most people at 147. If Mikey gets caught early he gets put to sleep.

This would be an interesting fight, though I would prefer to see Mikey fight the winner of Crawford-Indongo next. Thurman is well established at 147 and I rate him highly as a fighter. He seems to always know what it takes to win a fight and executes. Mikey could trouble Kieth with his boxing skill though, and we have seen Thurman hurt to the body before. Either way, Mikey doesn't really need Thurman at the moment when a win over Crawford could potentially catapult him to stardom. One division at a time.
