I'll take prime RJJ against anyone else from 160-175. Would be an interesting fight though.

RJJ as he fought a great technician in Hopkins and made Toney look average. I don't think he would knock him out but he would be landing some shots all night on Ward.

Roy, the man should've worn a cape in the ring during his pomp... brilliant fighter.

That said, Andre Ward is one of hell of a fighter too and gives anyone problems.

I'd take Jones by stoppage. Ward seemed a step slower against Kovalev, and Barrera.

Roy is a boogeyman matchup for Ward at 168 or 175.

Roy was better on the outside, and far more vicious with ripping
shots on the inside, It was very hard to tie Roy up and fire on the
inside without getting hit to the body and head hard.

I don't see what Ward could do to handle Roy or even trouble him.
Montell, the only person I saw that gave Roy any trouble was such
an underrated counter puncher and timer, you don't see timing like
that anymore. he'd throw and immediately step back, dip back, fire low and
dip lower to avoid shots. Ward stylistically can't do what Montell did, really
no one can, because they're too tall.

Roy, by dominating UD at LHW or stoppage at SMW.

RJ by UD. Ward would have a huge advantage fighting on the inside, but RJ would keep the fight on the outside. Ward would be competitive, even try to headbutt, stink up the fight.

Jones. He peppers Ward and wins clearly IMO.

Ward has great boxing mind and a mentality of a champion.
But Roy jones at 168 is other worldly, nobody past or present can do what he can do. Roy shut out both ATG in Hopkins and Toney. He'll do the same with Ward. Jones by UD.

    Obligatory "Y'all Musta Forgot!"

Andre Ward is merely the Son Of God, Roy was God himself.

Ward would hold, headbutt and wrestle his way to another boring points victory.
