Duva: Request for 'Neutral' Judges for Ward-Kovalev Denied by Ward

Balls to the wall isn't the best game plan. But I still don't think Ward lasts 4 with Sergey if that goes down.

I do think Sergey should fight a smart fight and concentrate heavily on cardio this training camp while not overtraining. The power WILL be there on June 17th... just focus on being able to go a full 12 rounds and stay effective all the way through.

All out balls to the wall Sergey against Ward would be fun to watch though. Lol! You gotta admit!

 

No such thing as a neutral judge. Just because they are from another country doesn't mean that don't have preconceived opinions. Duva is just yapping and trying to stir the pot. She needs to just shut the f--- up and let the fight happen.

 

I know Ive said it many times before but I firmly believe boxing is more corrupt today that its ever been, Just substitute the mob from the 50's for the State Commissions of today. Today the commissions dont have to try & hide the corruption Who polices them ?? NO ONE

Id a fighter is PROVEN guilty of a crime throw the book at them no matter who it is Bu PROVE it not act on mere accusations

Kovalev should go into this fight expecting to lose every round on the cards. Go for the kill from the get.

Kov had is chance to do just what you said and he failed to deliver! Kov will not ko Ward in the rematch and all your moaning and groning won't change the out of the fight! Ward UD again!

This is simply a horrible PR move by Ward and his team. Don't know if Ward feels he needs all the help he can get or is simply just trying to stick it to Kovalev but this will backfire big-time if the fight is again close and the judges score it in his favor for the second time.

 

SOB Ward has always cheated, he knows no other way...............no only did SOB pick the judges, but he also has picked his personal referee to protect him. Don't forget, it's not been that long when Vegas was owned by the Mafia, I have seen way too many bad decisions in Vegas. Kovalev clearly won the first fight, he should simply go ahead and knock SOB "Fecal Matter" Ward out cold..............get rid of that cheating criminal...............

This is the problem with fans of loaded dice Ward. They like to try and gloss over the fact that his team have gone out of their way to load the dice in his favour in just about every fight in living memory and act as though things like having every fight on home turf, having all the officials of his own nationality and having opponents move weight class to fight him are not massive advantages. Then they act as though every fighter should be completely happy to accept this nonsense as standard and claim that any fighter who won't accept a fight with the deck massively stacked in Ward's favour is a coward and ducking him. Delusional hypocrites most of them.

It is very simple really, if a fight between a US American and a Russian really has to be in the States then at bare minimum it should be a given that four neutral officials are appointed. Otherwise, you run the risk of a situation like last time where Kovalev, the defending champion, won the fight in reality but it was just possible to score to Ward if you gave him the benefit of every single close round, which all three of the good ole patriotic judges promptly did. I just don't see why anyone would object to neutral officials for a clash of this magnitude. Well OK I do, he's not known as loaded dice Ward for nothing....
