Willing to fight Kovalev 2 times at 175 but not willing to fight a guy who just went life and death with Danny Jacobs??? LMFAO! Do you actually think things out before you post them Sam?

Where has Golovkin said he would go up to 168 for definite for any fight? Is there a link?
I can understand Ward not wanting to move down after he has become a full LHW. He has been at LHW for nearly 2 years and not many fighters do as well when they have to drop back in weight.
I think it may be wise for Golovkin to test himself at SMW if he is going to take a big fight at the weight.
A Abraham did not appear as strong at SMW against his opponents, as he did at MW. Same thoughts with J Taylor. Both were decent MWs but at SMW struggled more

Going back down is never a good idea. Ward was at 168 for a long time and his body has only grown. You can see it on his torso. Golovkin had his chance before Ward moved up and he was talking about "anyone from 154 to 168" but then said he'd rather unify the Middleweight belts. Shame the fighter never happened but both men have their own paths to carve out.

Ward can't make 168 anymore. That was obvious. Virgil saying that was just to get people talking, I think. Ward at 168 would be easy work for Golovkin since Ward would pretty much Chad Dawson himself and would be a ko waiting to happen.

Golovkin has tried to get a fight with Ward before and it just never panned out.

Ward fighting Kovalev is not an indication that he would be more than willing to fight Golovkin since he was pretty much forced to fight Kovalev by RocNation. They needed a big fight that would generate money and Kovalev offered the biggest payday at that weightclass. Ward didn't really want that fight and actually complained about having to fight Kov but people seem to have forgotten that part.

Shut up fool. Ward is at 175 now and GGG had his chance, but he "wasn't ready"... member?
