Nice last round by Perez... should have fought the 9th that way.

I think scorecards for this could be all over the place... it's one of those "what do you like" kinda fights.. the come forward guy with power and shots that thud.. but who's pretty basic.. or the guy with bad body language but more accurate.

I can see the cards being all over the place, depending on what the judges are looking for. Perez controlled range, but Lopez landed cleaner and harder. I actually have Lopez up by one.

BTW, Teddy really can't see how the one card isn't really that bad. The crowd boo'd the decision. If Lopez won I wouldn't complain.. really a fight that could go either way depending on what you like.

Scorecards were all over the place, which was to be expected. The fight could have gone either way and I have no problem with Perez winning obviously because I scored it for him. Cards were all a bit wide but that's my only problem with the decision.

 

I could care less who won this.. neither guy is going anywhere but this exact level of near-contender to gatekeeper... I mean they could get a title shot.. but they aren't winning a real title.

..but we got a pretty good little fight. I'm good with that.

 

One judge gave Perez 8 rounds...??? Ridiculous...!!!
