I am being dead serious when I say this, your loyalty is very admirable. I understand you know Margarito personally. Perhaps this is the reason you defend him to such a level. You also make a lot of valid arguments in your defense of him, but the one sticking point for me is, how could Capitillo not have known the wraps he was putting on his fighter were used? New wraps usually come rolled up and at times trainers will set the wraps up before a fight and so on. To just grab wraps out of a bag and not thoroughly check them before putting them on your fighter is negligent, but to not no the difference between new and used wraps is ridiculous. It just doesn't add up!

 

Really only Javier Capetillo knows why he put that used pad in the wraps, I'm certain Tony didnt know. But when that pad was tested weeks after it still wasnt hard It was of no advantage to Margarito or detriment to Mosely.
All it was was a technical offense not loaded gloves. Sadly its over now damage was done & cannot be put right. Remember it all started when Nazim Richardson claimed "PLASTER BLOCKS" fell from Tony's wraps. Why wasn't he asked what happened to those "BLOCKS" ????

As I have had mine wrapped many times too. I was always relaxing thinking about the upcoming fight not staring at my trainers wrapping my hands.
The only evidence we've ever seen of illegal pads is the one of a pad in a zip up plastic bag. The CSAC NEVER produced it for inspection supposedly they "MISLAID" it LOL No one only Richardson claimed the pad was ever hard.
He obviously LIED!!! You, I nor anyone else would notice that pad in a wrap.

I like margarito. It's conceivable that he didn't know if the trainer slipped something inside. But ultimately he's partly responsible for this offence.

 

Margarito was a disgrace and he is now broke. Good riddance to him and his trainer.

 

Actually he is far from broke he is actually doing very well. Its people like you that tarnished his career and good name. Both Mayweather and fishnets were scared constipated to ever face him in the ring but he was in the way. He'd legitimately destroyed Pinky Cotto and spoiled their $$$$ plans.
Tony was a FIGHTER not a prima donna that's why i'll always support nhim
