So is it safe to presume Hughies still has PED issues?

Yep and what has happened is a carbon copy of what they did when Tyson was suspended then faked an ankle injury to prevent the Wlad rematch happening. I believe both are serving drug bans and it's been kept hushed through legal proceedings.

I don't think this is drug related. The wouldn't have taken or been able to take the fight if Hughie was under a ban or didn't have a licence.

They are also targeted and random tested by UKAD quite a bit apparently. I think it's pretty much down to not getting it in the UK.

Until the Furys come out and give whatever their side of the story is we are only hearing it from one side.

I also noticed Peters tweet about doing an interview with Kugan Cassius. I'm intrigued as to whether that meant they were due to do an interview that in the end never took place as it hasn't been published. Or does it mean that he already recorded an interview that has now been shelved?

I think I remember reading that Duco knew about the PED issue and the Furys got the UKAD hearing pushed back so the fight could take place before it. So they did do their homework and we're still willing to work with them which a lot of teams wouldn't.

You mean like when Tyson Fury was suspended but knowing this negotiated a rematch with Wlad which was called off at the last minute due to a fake ankle injury. Please Fury's have already pulled this **** once before why wouldn't they do it again.

    Yes, I believe so.

That fits with Tyson also seeming to give up on his planned return.

I don't think so. Klitschko and Parker's promoters would have had all that investigated being signing for the fight. Those are professional and experienced organizations with ample resources.
And in fact, I think UKAD have clarified that the suspensions were lifted several months, pending hearings.

How would Wlad and Parkers team know anything if it had all been hushed in the courts.

Yes UKAD lifted the suspension but only after Fury faked the injury and pulled out of the first attempted rematch with Wlad. It's fact that Wlad and Tyson negotiated a fight while Tyson was suspended by UKAD and under investigation for doping. Confirmed by UKAD official statement after they found them guilty, the suspension was lifted to give them a proper ban but that was delayed due to the NAPD appeal as per UKAD procedures.

You say Wlad wouldn't do this but this is exactly what happened. Wlad was kept in the dark like everyone else likely due to Fury putting in court injunctions to stop people like Wlad finding out.

And now we are seeing a repeat of the exact same thing. The NADP hearing was pushed back from October to Feburary because of Tyson's mental health, but now it's April and nothing. No statements from UKAD or the Fury's which suggests once again they have an injunction to prevent it from being made public. And why do we suspect this, because it's happened before and neither Fury have fought since.

it is safe to presume every pro athlete has ped issues. the ones who scream the loudest about being clean are inevitably the ones who are found to be dirty.
